| Barbara E. Exline, 76 of Newark, West Virginia, passed away Saturday June 28, 2014 at Camden Clark Memorial Campus.
She was born June 28, 1938, the daughter of the late Thomas C. and Thelma Martine Exline.
She was a 1957 graduate of Wirt County High School, and worked for 13 years at Wirt County Banks of Elizabeth WV, then went on to work at GE Plastics' and retired after 20 years of service.
She was a member of the Ladies VFW Post #1212 Parkersburg, WV, and
enjoyed her horses, spending time with her family and friends. Barb had a natural love for all animals.
She is survived by her partner of 57 years, Jo Ann Bennett; 1 grandson Thomas J. Freeland of Tucson Arizona; and 1 sister, Dorothy (Lloyd) Fought of Newark; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by both her parents; 1 sister Geraldine Jones; and 4 brothers, Thomas Exline, Paul Exline, Chuck Exline and Bob Exline.
Service will be Tuesday July 1, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Matheny Whited Funeral Home of Elizabeth WV with Rev. Margo Exline Friend officiating. Visitation will be Monday June 30, 2014 4-8 p.m.
Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Parkersburg WV.
