MOTORCYCLIST INJURED IN CRASH ON US 33-119 - Life-Flighted To Medical Center

A motorcyclist was injured Friday afternoon about 1:20 p.m. when he lost control of his bike on US 33-119 east near the Bear Fork Trading Post. The victim and another biker were traveling east toward Gilmer County. The middle-aged man received multiple injuries in the crash and was life-flighted to a medical center by chopper. Minnie Hamilton EMS responded to the scene and transported the victim to the Arnoldsburg Community Park to meet the chopper. The Calhoun Sheriffs Department is investigating.
