Richard A. "Rick" Hall, 54, of Spencer, died Tuesday, June 24, 2014, in the Miletree Center, Spencer. He was born November 12, 1959 at Charleston, a son of the late Bill Roy Hall and the late Barbara Jane Jackson Hall Buchanan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, William Joseph Hall; and stepfather, Oris Buchanan. Rick was a former oil field worker and cemetery work contractor. Survivors include a son and son's fiancée, Joe Hall and Melissa Glaspell of Spencer; a granddaughter, Madison Hall; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Timothy and Lisa Hall and Tom and Loretta Hall all of Spencer; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 27 in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with Pastor John Davis officiating. Burial will be in the Slate Cemetery, Spencer.
