Clyde Hampton Knotts, 72 - Arnoldsburg

Clyde Hampton Knotts, 72, of Arnoldsburg, West Virginia, was born June 3, 1942 at Orma WV, and died June 13, 2014 at home of an apparent heart attack.

Clyde was the ninth child of the late Earl and Lalah Keith.

He was a member of the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Spencer and was a retired school bus driver with the Calhoun County School System.

Surviving are his wife Judy Murphy Knotts; four sons, Brian (Barbara) Knotts of Corbett, Oregon, Ken (Marilyn) Knotts of Chicago Ill, Hampton (Michelle) Knotts of Benwood, WV, Shaun Schock of Arnoldsburg; one daughter, Bethanie Schock of Arnoldsburg; three sisters, Earlene Randolph of Tampa Fl, Kathleen Traywick of Michigan, Emagene Burcal of Spencer, WV; two brothers, Holt Knotts of Memphis TN, Charles Knotts of Avon, OH; grandchildren Jessica, Joseph and Ciara Knotts.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, James and Dale Knotts; sisters, Arlene Dobbins and Maxine Foutty.

A funeral mass will be held at the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Spencer Thursday June 19, 2014 at 2:00 pm with Father Thomas Chacko officiating.

Burial will follow in the Knotts Cemetery at Orma. Friends may call at the Stump Funeral Home in Arnoldsburg from 11:00-1:00 pm Thursday prior to the funeral mass.
