HEARTWOOD IN THE HILLS PERFORM AT WOOD FESTIVAL

Performing Arts Students are joined by Jude Binder in her mask for the Welcome Dance (costume by Linda Milliron) Jessi Cosgrove and Mercy Roberts with Jocelyn Heiney, Caroline McCumbers and Bethany Starkey Heartwood in the Hills concluded its Spring Program of classes with a showcase of student work by presenting "SprinGala 2014!" on Friday, June 6 at Heartwood. It was a wonderful hour of music, color, dance and mask theatre performed for a standing room only gathering. In addition, the non-profit school for the arts joined in the Calhoun County Wood Festival this year with Performing Arts students and alumni participating in Mask in the annual parade. In addition, an encore presentation of "SprinGala 2014!" was presented in a street performance in front of the Calhoun County Courthouse.
