SCHOOL BOARD WILL RECOGNIZE OUT-GOING BOARD MEMBERS - Meeting Set For Monday

The Calhoun Board of Education will meet Monday at 6:30 p.m., the agenda posted on the school system's web site. Exiting school board members Faye Barnhart and Mike Wilson will be recognized for their service. Michael McHenry will be making a presentation regarding the band program. Superintendent Tim Woodward will be issuing a report on the legal responsibilities related to the expulsion of students in executive sessions. The board will be accepting the resignation of long-time Athletic Director Tim Davis and approving the retirement of teachers Scottie Westfall and Monica Leah Offutt, in addition to a number of personnel actions.
