70-YEAR-OLD BRAXTON MAN CHARGED WITH SEXUAL ABUSE - Gilmer Man Charge With Nighttime Burglary

A Braxton County man has been charged with multiple sexual offenses.

Brant Burton Butcher is in Central Regional Jail charged with sexual assault 1st degree, sexual intrusion, sexual abuse 1st degree, sexual abuse by parent or guardian.

Bail has not been set.

A Gilmer man, Adam Wayne Ramsey, 28, has been charged with nightime burglary. His bail is set at $15,000.

Ashley Brooke Smith, 32, has been charged by Clay authorities with fraud, false pretenses and fraudulent schemes.

Smith's bail has been set at $5,000.
