WV FILMMAKER JOSH STEWART'S "THE HUNTED" HAVING STATE PREMIERES

(06/10/2014)
A movie made in the wilds of Webster County by WV actor and filmmaker Josh Stewart made its debut in Sutton at the Elk Theatre.

Stewart (left) a native of Diana in Webster County, got his acting start at the Landmark Theater in Sutton, and has starred in roles on NBC's "Third Watch," FX's "Dirt," ABC's "No Ordinary Family."

The movie titled "The Hunted" is about trying to create a hunting TV show for network executives, but things take a horrific turn.

"Filming in Hacker Valley was exciting for everybody around. It's exciting for the people around here to see places they're familiar with," said Marjorie Stewart, Josh Stewart's mother.

There will also be screenings of the film in Bridgeport on June 19th, and in Morgantown on June 26th.
