| Douglas Keith Ritchie, 51, of Big Springs, WV passed away June 5, 2014 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.
He was born in Wood County, the son of the late Dale and Betty Jean (Wilson) Ritchie. He was a member of Prosperity Baptist Church where he served as grounds keeper. Doug loved life, never met a stranger and was an avid Dallas Cowboy's fan.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa Dawn Ritchie; three daughters, Aimee Racy, Haleigh Bonnette and Katie Ritchie, all of Parkersburg, WV; two brothers, Mike (Teresa) Ritchie and Calvin (Bette) Ritchie of Big Springs, WV; two sisters, Connie Shaffer of Ripley, WV and Roberta (Jane) Friedman of Alum Bridge, WV; and three grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a previous wife, Linza Ritchie.
Funeral services will be held Monday, June 9, 2014, 2:00 pm, at the Stump Funeral Home in Grantsville with Rev. Ken Heiney officiating.
Burial will follow in the Saunders Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1:00-2:00pm prior to the services.
