| Betty A. Dennison age 73 of Salem, West Virginia, departed this life 3:50 p.m., Tuesday June 3, 2014 at the United Hospital Center, Bridgeport, West Virginia, following an extended illness. Born August 13, 1940 in Linn, West Virginia, daughter of the late Thomas and Genevieve Posey Parsons. Betty was a homemaker for most of her life and also worked in factories in West Virginia and Ohio. She enjoyed fishing, camping, spending time outdoors, crossword puzzles, and riding all terrain vehicles. Betty loved animals and working on the farm with her husband, she was also a Baptist by faith. On May 24, 1959 she was united in marriage to Junior Joe Dennison, who survives at their Big Flint Road home. Surviving n addition to her husband are 2 daughters, Jo Ann Pennington of Salem, and Kathy Miller and husband Wes of Massillon, Ohio; 3 sons, Willie Dennison and wife Mindy of Canton, Ohio, Randy Dennison and Jimmy Dennison and wife Carrie all of Glenville, West Virginia; and 1 step son, Joe Dennison and wife Marilyn of Glenville; 1 brother, Eddie Parsons of Linn, WV.; 1 sister, Margie Parsons of Glenville; 27 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Along with her parents, Betty was preceded in death by 1 brother, Clyde Parsons. Funeral Services will be conducted at the Ellyson Mortuary Inc., 2 Vanhorn Drive, Glenville, WV, 26351 at 11:00 a.m. Saturday June 7, 2014 with Pastor Roger Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Boilon Cemetery. Friends may call from 9-11 a.m. Saturday morning at the mortuary. Ellyson Mortuary Inc. is assisting the family of Betty Dennison with arrangements.
