Workers unload truckloads of tires and crunch rims for recycling

The annual old tire collection appeared to be a roaring success Saturday with truck after truck bringing tires and rims.

The West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection's REAP program and the Calhoun County Solid Waste Authority hosted the event at the Cabot Recycling Station.

The event was made possible in part through REAP, within the DEP's Division of Land Restoration.
