WV KNIFE AND GUN CLUB - Argument Ends In Foot Shooting

Police responded to a report of a person being shot in Clendenin, Wednesday afternoon on River Haven Road. Cpl. Brian Humphreys of the Kanawha County Sheriff's Office said two men got into an argument at the shooter's house, the shooter getting a 12-gauge shotgun and shooting the victim in the foot. Police said the victim fled the scene in a vehicle with other people, and met an ambulance at the Clendenin interchange at I-79, where he was treated by medics. The victim then refused transport by ambulance and was driven to CAMC General Hospital. Police say the shooter is in custody and will be charged with malicious wounding.
