MAN DIES ON ROOF OF HOUSE - Responders Dispatched To Little Walnut Hill Rd.

Calhoun responders were dispatched to Little Walnut Hill Rd. Monday evening about 7 p.m. to a 37-year-old man "stuck" on the roof of a house. Family members told the Herald that Philip D. Carter, 37, had died while repairing his father's roof. Little Walnut Road is off Walnut Road, which intersects with State Rt. 16 near Chloe. The Upper West Fork and Arnoldsburg VFDs responded with Minnie Hamilton EMS, with firemen using rescue equipment to remove the man. A medical examiner and the State Police also responded.
