Donna Rowh Hickman, 76 - Barberton-Manchester OH

Donna Rowh Hickman, 76, passed away on May 23, 2014. Donna was born on July 21, 1937 in Calhoun, West Virginia to Harley and Nelvie Rowh.

She married Holly Hickman in 1957 and moved to the Barberton and Manchester area where she lived for the next 55 years. She worked for many years at Yoder Brothers' Greenhouse before retiring from the United State Postal Service.

She was an active member of Manchester United Methodist Church where she organized many programs including paper recycling and her favorite monthly bluegrass jams.

Donna was greeted in Heaven by her parents; brother, Joel, and sister Nancy. She is survived by her husband, Holly; son, Dan and his wife Nancy; her grandchildren, Holly, Hope, and Carter; her niece, Charlene Hayes; and her sons, Kevin and Vincent.

The family would like to thank the New Franklin Paramedics and the nursing staff at Akron General Hospice Care Center on Ridgewood Road for their care and support.

Friends may call on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Bacher Funeral Home, 3326 Manchester Road, Akron, OH 44319. A funeral service will be held at Manchester United Methodist Church on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at 11 a.m. with visitation 1 hour prior.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Manchester United Methodist Church in memory of Donna. Funeral home map, directions, and the Hickman Family Condolence are available at the funeral home website.
