SKYWATCHERS CAN VIEW EARLY AM SATURDAY METEOR SHOWER

(05/24/2014)
Clear skies predicted will make for a prime viewing of a meteor shower early Saturday, peaking about 2 a.m.

The Comet 209P/Linear's dusty debris will create the meteor shower. Scientists believe the shower could produce several hundred shooting stars per minute.

The show will be visible to the naked eye throughout North America.

For best viewing, get away from city lights and find a dark location.
