CALHOUN CIRCUIT COURT HAS LARGE NUMBER OF ARRAIGNMENTS MONDAY

Judge David Nibert in Calhun Circuit Court held arraignment hearings Monday for Krista Farrell, Michael Duncan, Richard Conley, Jason Conrad, Nicholas Davis, Doug Lynch, Billy Dunbar, and Clarke Patterson, according to prosecutor Shannon Johnson.

Those defendants were set for pre-trial hearings on June 23 and for trial on July 1 before Judge Thomas Evans III.

Also arraigned were James Morsey, Joshawa Whipkey, Adam Park, Matthew Rapp, James Scott Morford, Eric Jones, and Jeremy Saunders.

Those defendants were set for pre-trial hearings on June 30 and trials on July 15 before Judge David W. Nibert.

Ashley Easton was arraigned on charges related to meth making. Her pre-trial hearing was set for September 11th and trial a trial was set for September 30.

Prosecutor Jones said Matthew Nicholas appeared for a sentencing hearing on his violation of Home Confinement. Nicholas had admitted to drinking alcohol during home confinement and was sentenced to approximately 45 days in jail.

He was released to participate in the Doddridge County Day Report Center and was placed on five years parole.

David Bailey appeared on a motion to revoke his probation. He was appointed an attorney and his hearing was set for June 30th.

Georgie Gaglione and Josh Slider appeared for a pre-trial hearing related to meth charges. The state moved to continue the hearing and it was set for another pre-trial on June 30.

Larry Harold appeared and entered a guilty plea to attempt to commit burglary, a felony.

Harold will be sentenced on June 30.

There were eight juvenile hearings also on the docket.

The next court date is June with Judge David Nibert presiding.
