Mary Jean Pearce Elmore, age 57, of Painesville, Ohio, formerly of Mentor, died Monday, May 12, 2014, at Metro Health Medical Center, Cleveland.

Mary was employed at Grand Rock, Lawson's, IGA, and Lakeshore Express, and attended Headlands Baptist Church.

Survivors include her mother, Grace E. Elmore of Mentor, formerly of Cremo WV; siblings, Duane Schreckengost of Grantsville WV, Jarrell (Janice) Schreckengost of McConnell, South Carolina, Diane (Jim) Ballard of Cedarville, North Carolina, Dean (Arletta) Davis of Grantsville WV, Robert (Lisa) Elmore of Kirtland, Deborah Elmore of Mentor, and Michael (Patti) Elmore of Mentor; former husband, Calvin Pearce; children, Charles Pearce and Rebecca (Randy) Mullenax; grandchildren, James (Pearce) Chapman, Hunter and Lauryn Pearce, Olivia and Travis Mullenax; aunts, Edna Kingsbury of Grantsville WV and Geneva Elmore of Mentor; nieces and nephews, Rachel Greer, Melissa Elmore, Michael and Daniel Elmore; great nieces and nephews, Donovan See, Christopher Schreckengost, Hailey and Jamie Greer, Zachary Krupa, Robby and Alayna Worrell, Lily and Devin Elmore; former daughter-in-law, Amy Pearce; and former sister-in-law, Sheila (Nichols) Meadows of Parkersburg WV, formerly of Grantsville WV.

Preceding Mary in death was her father, Okey Elmore; aunt, Faustine (Rex) McCartney of Grantsville; uncles, Otis Elmore, Eugene and Dewitt Duskey of Cremo WV, and nephew Chris Schreckengost.

The funeral will be 5 p.m. Saturday, May 17, at Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor, OH 44060. The family will receive friends Saturday 3 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home. Inurnment will be in Mentor Cemetery, Mentor.
