WV SCHOOLS WILL GET A-F REPORT CARDS IN 2015

(05/17/2014)
West Virginia schools will start receiving report cards in 2015, a letter grade that the public can easily understand.

The West Virginia Board of Education approved the policy for accrediting the state's public schools, establishing an A to F grading system, just like report cards parents get for their children.

The WV Department of Education said the new system increases the focus on student and school performance.
