WIRT ELECTS THREE BOARD MEMBERS - Approves Sunday Hunting

Roy Copen (Democrat) and Robert "Bob" Gunnoe (Republican) unopposed for county commissioner. Penny McVay was unopposed for Mayor of Elizabeth. Elected to the Wirt County Board Of Education, John Nemeth 766, Mark Lowe 733, and Carl Brainard 625. The loser was Jeremy Metz 304. The Wirt County Sunday Hunting Option passed 552 to 480 opposed.
