CALHOUN MIDDLE-HIGH SCHOOL PRINCIPAL KIRBY RETIRING - Board To Approve 2014-15 School Calendar

Calhoun Middle-High School principal Karen Kirby is retiring on June 30. Kirby holds a professional administrative leadership certificate from Salem International University, holds a masters degree from the WV College of Graduate Studies, and attended Glenville State College and WV Institute of Technology. She has been associated with the Calhoun school system since 1984. Kirby replaced principal Mike Offutt in 2006. The Calhoun Board of Education will meet May 12 to approve the school calendar for 2014-15, hear the interim superintendents report, deal with a strategic plan for enhancing physical activity, have a hearing on a student expulsion, and approve a number of personnel.
