KANAWHA STABBING - The Kanawha County Sheriff's Office arrested two people following a stabbing in Cross Lanes.

Deputies said Stephon LeMaster, 20, stabbed his cousin Fred Cook, 29, in the stomach following a fight at their home.

Cook was taken to Charleston Area Medical Center General Hospital and his condition was unavailable.

LeMaster is charged with malicious wounding.

His girlfriend, Chelsea Huffman, 19, also was arrested at the scene after deputies said she tried to interfere with their investigation. Huffman was charged with disorderly conduct, underage consumption and obstructing an officer.

Huffman and LeMaster are both in the South Central Regional Jail.

SHOOTING AT GO-MART - Charleston police officers say two white males, believed to be in their late 30s early 40s, got into a fight near one of the gas pumps at Go-Mart and a male pulled out a weapon and squeezed off one shot, no one hit.

One man was taken into custody.

The incident was caught on camera.
