WV KNIFE AND GUN CLUB - Police Arrest Teen With Realistic Handgun

(05/06/2014)
FAKE GUN - A Kanawha Co. teen was arrested after showing a replica handgun that St. Albans police believed to be real.

Jon A. Sirianni, 19, of Cross Lanes, was arrested and charged with Breach of Peace through St. Albans Municipal Court. The driver of the SUV paid his bond and Sirianni was released.

Police say they received a call about 12:25 p.m. Monday from a driver, saying in the SUV in front of him, the passenger was holding a gun to the driver's head.

Police caught up with the SUV, saying the passenger stuck the gun out the window and pointed it at a man riding on a bike.

Officers pulled the SUV over and got everyone out at gunpoint.

They found the gun was a replica, not a real gun, but the item was ever so realistic, it had the words "Sig Sauer" imprinted, a manufacturer of real handguns.

The other passenger and driver in the SUV were not charged, but police say they were at least somewhat complicit.
