Apples galore

Clay County folks had a good time at the Golden Delicious Festival in Clay this past weekend, but it was marred by the puncturing of 28 tires, the stealing of a briefcase with festival money, the fireworks display stolen, a broken windshield and the theft of a leaf blower. Sounds like the old time Clay of years gone by. Later a pick up truck was stolen.

This week 911 received several calls for ambulance service in Clay within a short period of time, and private provider JanCare from Fayette County, about one hour away, was called to assist with the emergencies.
