WV KNIFE AND GUN CLUB - Felon Charged With Having 81 Guns, Woman Kills Boyfriend

WOMAN CHARGED FOR HIRING HITMAN - In Taylor County Court, a woman accused of hiring a hitman appeared before a judge on Friday.

Rebecca Crouse, 31, allegedly met with someone in December and tried to give them money and a gun to kill her 71-year-old husband.

Crouses's bond was suspended while the court has a further hearing. MAN CHARGED FOR HAVING GUNS - A Belle WV man, Dorsey Woolwine, Junior, pleaded guilty in Federal Court Thursday to being a felon in possession of 81 firearms.

In March of 2012 police searched Woolwine's home and property and seized 29 firearms including a sawed-off shotgun.

A year later another search warrant was executed and that time meth, scales, cash, and 52 additional firearms were found.

Woolwine had been convicted for unlawful wounding. The conviction meant he is not allowed to have any firearms.

He faces up to 10 years in federal prison when he is sentenced on August 5th.

WOMAN KILLS BOYFRIEND - Angela Chapman, 50, of Lesage, is charged with first-degree murder.

Deputies say Chapman shot her boyfriend, Frank Oldaker, in the head, killing him, Thursday evening in the couple's home.

According to the criminal complaint, Chapman's sister received a call from her and could tell something was wrong. When she went to the home, she found Oldaker dead on a couch in the TV room.

The criminal complaint also states when Chapman's sister arrived, Chapman repeatedly said, "I can't believe I did this, I didn't mean to shoot him."

MAN SUSPECT IN MULTIPLE HOLD-UPS - Justin Harvey, 29, went into the Little General in Logan, pulled out a toy gun and demanded money and got away with $600.

Police caught up with Harvey a short time later and charged him with armed robbery.

Police say Harvey is also a suspect in several other robberies at that same gas station.

MAN HOLDS THREE AT GUNPOINT - The Huntington Police Department says Michael Lamar Mason, 25, of Barboursville, held three people at gunpoint and demanded money. He is charged with first degree robbery, according to court documents.

Officers say Mason was inside an apartment and pulled out a gun and demanded money from two men and one woman.

His bail was set at $75,000.

FEMALE FIGHT ENDS IN STABBING - A Logan County woman was arrested for a knife attack on another woman.

Vicki Richardson was charged with the malicious wounding of Brittany Miller in Cora.

The knife injured the victim's hand.

THREE ARRESTED IN ARMED ROBBERY - The Fairmont Police Department has arrested three men in connection to a Tuesday armed robbery.

Stephen Joseph Brewington, 26, of Massachusetts; Corey Joseph Richardson, 35, of Maryland; and Wallace Anthony Booth, Jr., 21 of Fairmont are each charged with robbery, burglary, and conspiracy to commit a felony.

Fairmont police were called after a homeowner noticed three men holding handguns and attempting to enter his house.

The homeowner tried to shut a door on the men but they forced their way inside the residence and held the homeowner at gunpoint, according to a criminal complaint.

Brewington, Richardson, and Booth took the man's wallet, cell phone, iPad, and approximately $800 before leaving the residence, said the complaint.

Police located the three men in an alley.

Brewington, Richardson, and Booth were arraigned by a Marion County Magistrate with bail set at $180,000 bail each.

PARKERSBURG HOLD-UP - Parkersburg Police respond to an armed robbery at 4 a.m. Wednesday at a Speedway on 7th Street.

Parkersburg Police say a man was wearing a ski mask and sweatshirt when he walked into the gas station, pointed a gun at the cashier and demanded money.

The man fled with an unknown amount of cash.

He was caught on camera.
