FANTASTICAL WEATHER SITE FOR LOCAL WEATHER - "Fitzweather" Does It Better

(05/15/2014)
A young Clay County man has developed a fantastical up-to-the minute weather site focused on this region of West Virginia.

Joe Fitzwater's "Fitzweather" was first thought of the summer of 2011 when he was 17 years old, and noticed that Central West Virginia was not covered very well by news outlets across the Mountain State.

"So I decided that I wanted to fill the gap," he said.

And what a site it is.

Every person casually interested in the weather, or weather enthusiasts, will appreciate Fitzwater's efforts.

"Over several months I saved my money for a domain and a hosting package for the webpage," Fitzwater said.

"Fitzweather was created for the people. I have literally spent hundreds of dollars into this project, with no money in return. It is something that I personally love to do, and the day I don't enjoy it anymore, I will quit."

"My passion for Central West Virginia is immense, and I hope that bleeds through this site, as I give my best effort in providing the most accurate weather forecasts for the region," he concluded.
