COLDWATER CREEK COULD BE CLOSING PARKERSBURG CENTER

Parkersburg's Coldwater Creek facility at Mineral Wells could be closing through liquidation, according to national media. The company employees a number local and regional people. While the company has not filed for bankruptcy, Bloomberg News cites two sources about plans for bankruptcy and liquidation of the assets. Coldwater Creek opened the Mineral Wells location in the late 1990's. In July of 2011, Coldwater announced it was closing the Mineral Wells call center and in June, 2012, the company cut 29 jobs.
