Youngsters came out for youth fishing day at Calhoun Park, catching trout that was just delivered to the park's ponds.
The ponds were stocked Friday with some robust trout.
The stocking has been a project of outdoor writer and former Calhouner Cory Boothe, who said "Some of these trout are brooders and over four pounds."
The trout fishing is now open to the public who have fishing licenses.
