A Ritchie County woman from Pullman has won some big money playing Powerball.

Katie Ivers bought the lucky ticket at the Route 16 fuel center in Ellenboro and she picked her own numbers.

Ivers' ticket matched five numbers, but missed the Powerball.

It's the sixth ticket sold in West Virginia this year to win a prize of $1 million or more.

Ivers said she is considering taking a vacation with her daughter and grandson in the future and plans to take care of her family's needs with her winnings.
