| Elizabeth Ann Ashby, 68, of Ravenswood, West Virginia died March 28, 2014 at the St. Francis Hospital in Charleston, West Virginia.
She was born May 3, 1945 in Spencer a daughter of the late Elzie and Gladys Starcher. She was a homemaker and a member of the VFW Post in Ripley.
She is survived by her husband, John Wayne Ashby, Sr.; a son, John Ashby, Jr. of Parkersburg, West Virginia; a sister, Helen Deel of Spencer; and a brother, Jesse Bill Starcher, also of Spencer.
Per her request, the body was cremated. TAYLOR-VANDALE FUNERAL HOME, Spencer, is in charge of arrangements. There will be no service or visitation at the funeral home.
