PRESCRIPTION DRUG ABUSE TOPIC OF GRANTSVILLE TOWN HALL MEETING TODAY

While alcohol and illegal drugs are often connected to people with abuse and addiction problems, the focus of a town hall meeting in Grantsville will be centered on the abuse of prescription drugs. The Calhoun County Substance Abuse Coalition will be sponsoring a Town Hall Meeting to discuss prescription drug issues, according to Samantha Cowan, coordinator of the Family Resource Network The meeting will be open to the public, and will help in raising awareness and preventing the misuse of prescription drugs. The meeting will be held at the Calhoun County Committee On Aging from 5-7 p.m. on Monday. Light refreshments will be served.
