WV KNIFE AND GUN CLUB - Family Feud Causes Shootings, Man On Moonshine Commits Murder

CRASH PLUS SHOOTING - A car crash in Dunbar has led to a shooting investigation, according to the Kanawha Co. Sheriffs Department.

Police say a truck hit a utility pole near Tyler Middle School just after 11:00 Saturday night, and when emergency crews arrived they discovered that a passenger in the truck, Corneal Cooper from Charleston, had a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

Both the driver and Cooper were taken to the hospital

. Investigators say they're now looking into the shooting.

FAMILY FEUD SHOOTINGS - Two people were shot on Charleston's West Side Sunday afternoon, police calling it a family feud.

Police say two families, the Carters and the Davis', had been fighting.

They said an ongoing feud between the families may be responsible for four different shootings in Charleston within just the past week.

Sunday, D.J. Carter and Dante Davis were both shot and because of the feud, police saying they aren't sure who shot who, but both men have non-life threatening injuries.

WAYNE COUNTY MURDER - A Wayne Co. man Brien Scott Bays has been arrested and accused of murdering another man Friday night in Crum.

Wayne County Sheriff's deputies said Bays fired two shots Friday night, killing Richard Laney, as he stood at the front door of his home.

Police said Bays was drunk on moonshine, waving around a pistol and was earlier asked to leave a party.

They said the two men had been friends.

BLACKSVILLE ARMED ROBBERY - State Police are investigating an armed robbery Sunday evening of a Blacksville business, Belko Foods.

Police say a man, wearing a red bandana entered the store and pulled a gun on the cashier, while a female driver waited outside during the robbery.

State Police believe its the same robber they are looking for from an armed robbery that took place in Green County, Pa.

The robber got away with $400.
