ROANE FOREST FIRE SET INTENTIONALLY SATURDAY

A Roane County man has been charged after police said he "intentionally" started a forest fire Saturday in the Harmony area. Several Roane fire departments, police and the Department of Forestry responded to the fire which burned an estimated 50-100 acres. The fire was near Coxs Fork Road. Authorities confirmed the act was intentional, but the name of the individual was not released, the suspect is cooperating with police.
