BARNES RUN ROAD CLOSED FOR SLIP REPAIR

Calhoun County, WV - West Virginia Division of Highways announces the planned closure of Calhoun County Route 9, Barnes Run Road, beginning on Tuesday, March 18, 2014, for slip repair, according to Dave Brabham, District Three Maintenance Engineer. The roadway will be closed at milepost 3.79, approximately three and eight-tenths miles from the junction of WV 16 to accommodate slip repair. The roadway is expected to be closed between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on Monday through Friday until March 28, 2014. School buses and emergency vehicles will be accommodated; however, motorists are advised to plan ahead and must use alternate routes. Please be advised that inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances may change the work schedule.
