| Calhoun County Universal Preschool will have enrollment packets available for parents beginning March 7, 2014 for the school year 2014-2015.
All children who are 4 years old prior to September 1, 2014 are eligible to apply for enrollment. The preschool packets will be available at the elementary school in your district.
All children applying for preschool must have the following documents prior to the beginning of the 2014-2015 school year:
⢠Income verification (optional)
⢠Certified Birth Certificate (Vital Statistics Certificate from Charleston only)
⢠Immunization Record
⢠Preventative Health Screen with dental check and hemoglobin test (available through your physician)
⢠Pre-K Universal Application
Completed preschool packets are due by April 7, 2014 to the elementary school your child will be attending, Attn: School Secretary.
Any child who will be three prior to September 1, 2014, thought to have delays, is eligible to be screened for possible preschool services. Contact Calhoun Board of Education at (304)354-7011, ext. 10 to get screening information.
Any child who will be 5 years old prior to September 1, 2014, not previously enrolled, needs to contact the secretary at their local elementary school for registration information.
