Harry C. "June" Fought Jr., 66, of Elizabeth WV passed away at Camden Clark Memorial Campus after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born December 28, 1947 the son of the late Harry C. and Wauneta (Shears) Fought.

He was a past Vice President of Steel Workers Union 1651 of Parkersburg WV, and retired from Ames Plant II after 35 plus years of service. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing, 4 wheel riding, and gardening. Was an avid football fan and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years Jill (Stutler) Fought; daughters, April (Derek) Wilson of Parkersburg WV and Crystal (Tim) McFee of Elizabeth; son, Clinton Fought of Elizabeth; 7 grandchildren, Josie Fought, Ashley McFee, Austin Lockhart, Cassidy McFee, Kaleigh Fought, Kamryn Fought and Sawyer Fought; brother Jim (Linda) Fought of Elizabeth; sisters, Sue Ross of Palestine WV and Ann (Mike) Metheny of Billings WV; several nieces and nephews He was preceded in death by both parents; and 2 brothers, Danny Shears and Charles Fought.

Services will be Monday February 17 at 11:00 a.m. at Matheny Whited Funeral Home of Elizabeth WV with Rev. Robert Watkins officiating. Visitation will be Sunday February 16 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Fought Cemetery, Newark WV.
