Patrick Webb Sr., 64 - Gilmer County

Patrick Webb Sr. of Gilmer County, West Virginia departed this life on February 1, 2014 at the Lakin Hospital, Mason County, following a long term illness.

Born September 2, 1949 in Harrison County WV, son of the late Archie H. and Ertha Snyder Webb.

Patrick was a former glass factory worker as a glass blower. He was a SR6 in the United States Army. He served in Germany from 1976-1979. He earned an Army Service Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Overseas Service Medal, Driver Mechanic Badge, Expert Marksmanship Badge, Rifle M-16, and Hand Grenades.

In 1983 Patrick was united in marriage to Donna Webb who survives in Burnsville, WV.

Surviving are 2 children, Patrick Webb Jr. of Burnsville, and Alicia Webb-Davis and husband John of Clay WV, 2 step-sons, Justin Peggs of Sutton WV, and Joey Heater of Moorefield WV, 1 brother, Mike Webb and wife Lisa of Glenville WV, and 3 grandchildren, Payton Webb, Johnny Davis Jr. and Leann Davis. Patrick is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

Along with his parents, Patrick was preceded in death by 1 infant daughter, Lisa Ann Webb.

The family would like to thank all the staff at Lakin Hospital for all their help in his time of need. Patrick will be missed very much.

Family will gather at the Ellyson Mortuary Inc, 2 Vanhorn Drive, Glenville, WV on Saturday, February 8, 2014 from 11-11:30 a.m. Then at 12:00 noon, there will be burial with Full Military Honors at the Sand Fork Cemetery.

Ellyson Mortuary Inc is assisting the family of Patrick Webb Sr. with arrangements.
