In Loving Memory of Ethel "Pauline" Swisher
61, of 2291 Garrett Road, died Wednesday, September 11, 2002 at
Martin General Hospital.
She was born in Calhoun County, West Virginia on October 10, 1940 to the
late Brady and Edith Ritchie Whipkey. Mrs. Swisher was a homemaker and member of Cashie Baptist
Church. She was predeceased by a son, Robert "Bobby" Swisher.
Funeral services were held on Friday, September 13, 2002 at the Walker Funeral Chapel in Windsor by
the Rev. Jack Byrd. Burial followed in the Edgewood Cemetery.
Survivors include her Husband, Robert Swisher of Williamston, NC
Daughters, Cheryl S. Ellis of Virginia, and Rebecca S. Adams of Williamston, NC
Sons, David Swisher of Windsor, NC and Joshua Swisher of Williamston, NC
Brothers, Timothy Whipkey, Denzil Whipkey, Roger Dean Whipkey, and Charlie Ritchie all of West
Virginia
Sisters, Renice Jeanette Francis, Hazel Louise Swisher, and Grace Holcomb all of West Virginia
Three Grandchildren, Jacob, Jaron, and Elizabeth.
Pauline's special love will be missed but never forgotten. She touched many lives during her lifetime, and
her love will live forever in her family and friends.
