Anna Faith Miller West - Ripley

Anna Faith Miller West, 85, of Ripley, West Virginia formerly of Spencer, West Virginia died January 26, 2014 at Eldercare of Ripley.

Anna Faith was born June 29, 1928 in Roane County, West Virginia a daughter of the late John W. and Anna Starcher Epling. She was retired from the United States Postal Service and formerly worked at Kellwood Company. She was an active member of the Spencer Baptist Temple and sang in various gospel groups. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Wetzel Chapter of the Eastern Star 27.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Janet Miller of Mt. Hope, West Virginia; one step-son, Jerry Shock of Millsboro, Deleware; four grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Linda Miller of Spencer.

In addition to her parents, Anna Faith was preceded in death by her first husband, Carl W. Miller; second husband, Clarence "Corky" West; a son, Roland Miller; three brothers, Efford, Esten, John Mason Epling; several half-brothers and sisters; and a step-grandson, Brian Batten.

Service 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at the TAYLOR-VANDALE FUNERAL HOME, Spencer, with Rev. Smith Epling officiating. Burial will be in the Eventide Cemetery, Spencer. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home on Wednesday.
