A Shining Star goes to Calhoun's Department of Highway workers who have been doing a bang-up job plowing and treating the county highways during the worst winter weather in years.
"Thanks for all the hours of hard work they have put in this winter. Our roads have been taken care of better than any other county around.
They have given up their nights and weekends at home with their families, and been out in sub-zero weather just keeping the roads clear so the rest of us can travel," said Ed Tingler."
