WBOY-TV News Photo A Doddridge County teenager has been sentenced for the murder of his parents and a sister on Labor Day 2012. Joseph Spencer, 17, plead guilty to three first-degree murder charges in the deaths of Frederick Spencer, 49, and Dixie Spencer, 47, his parents, and Patience Spencer, 9, his sister. Spencer has been sentenced to life in prison with mercy for fatally shooting the trio. He will serve two terms concurrently with the third one to follow. He was tried as an adult.
