Phyllis "Gail" Harris, 66 - Walton

Phyllis "Gail" Harris, 66, of Walton, West Virginia, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at CAMC Memorial in Charleston, West Virginia.

She was born August 21, 1947 in Roane County, a daughter of Ruby M. Harper Coe of Walton and the late Ernest Dayton Coe. She was a waitress at Yeager Airport.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by two daughters, Lisa (Jeff) Bird of Pinch, West Virginia and Catrina Harris of Dunbar, West Virginia; four siblings, Bonnie Hester of Mebane, North Carolina, Barbara Huffman of Walton, Kay Simmons of Clover, West Virginia, and Billy Coe of Walton; three grandchildren, Lindsay (Allen) Martin, Corey Bird, and Ema Baker; and one great-grandson, Eli Martin.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Nanette Harris; and a brother, Charles Dwayne Coe.

Service will be at 1:00pm on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer, West Virginia. Burial will follow in the Clover Cemetery. Visiting is Monday from 6:00 to 8:00pm at the funeral home.
