Franklin D. Richards - Glenville

Franklin D. Richards age 78 of Glenville WV departed this life at 9:31 a.m., Friday, January 10, 2014 in the United Hospital Center, Bridgeport, following a brief illness. Born September 11, 1935 in Gilmer County, son of the late George and Armece Bonnett Richards. Frank enjoyed hunting and fishing. Surviving are 3 children, Earl Richards, Peter Richards, and Simone Richards all of Crossville, TN., 1 brother, Hoy "Mack" Richards and wife Barbara of New London, NC. He is also survived by several grandchildren and his special friend Carolyn Taylor of Sand Fork. Along with his parents, Mr. Richards was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Teresa Richards, and 2 brothers, Robert and Russell Richards. Graveside services will be conducted at the Hiney Hill Cemetery, at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 13, 2014 with Rev. Gene Johnson officiating. Ellyson Mortuary Inc. is assisting the family of Franklin D. Richards with arrangements.
