CLAY MAN SENTENCED 20 YEARS AFTER MOLESTING RELATIVE

A Clay County sex offender, Brian Lee Adkins, 48, was sentenced to up to 20 years in prison for molesting a relative. Adkins will remain under court supervision for 50 years after he's released from prison. The child's grandmother told the court Adkins took the 11-year-old girl's innocence and ruined the lives of all families involved. The sentencing has been delayed several times for a psychiatric evaluation.
