Elizabeth Hurst, 67 - Alum Bridge

Elizabeth Hurst age 67 of Alum Bridge, WV; departed this life on Monday December 16, 2013 at the Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, following an extended illness.

Born April 30, 1946 in Braxton County, daughter of the late Stewart and Leona James Evans.

Elizabeth was a homemaker and a Christian by faith. She enjoyed watching TV, fishing, taking walks, and going on Sunday drives when she was able.

On June 6, 1979 she was united in marriage to Donel Hurst, who survives at their Alum Bridge home.

Surviving are 2 sons, Daniel Terranova of Alum Bridge, and Patrick Cutright of Clarksburg; 3 brothers, Stewart Evans and wife Bobbette of Harrison County, Michael Evans and wife Andrea of Upshur County, and Roland Evans and wife Linda of Ritchie County; 3 sisters, Katherine Roberson of New Albany IN, Louise Dickerson of Charlestown IN, and Elaine McCartney and husband Arnold of Walkersville.

Along with her parents Elizabeth was preceded in death by 1 brother Hanseford Evans.

Funeral Services will be conducted at the Ellyson Mortuary Inc. 2 Vanhorn Drive, Glenville, WV. 26351 at 11:00 am. Friday December 20, 2013, with Pastor Bryan Groves officiating. Burial will follow in the Copen Cemetery, Copen, WV. Friends may call from 10:00-11:00 Friday morning at the Mortuary.

Ellyson Mortuary Inc is assisting the family of Elizabeth Hurst with arrangements.
