(12/19/2013)
A Spencer doctor and pastor has avoided jail time after admitting to a disturbing case involving an elderly patient. He was charged with sexual battery.

Dr. Kenneth Seen, who was charged with sexual battery, was sentenced Monday to two years probation, with the sentence requiring him to be listed as a sex offender for 10 years.

Seen was arrested last year after he placed his tongue in the mouth of an elderly patient at Roane General Hospital who was being examined. The patient bit-off part of the doctor's tongue.

The 77-year-old man, who died shortly after the incident, suffered from dementia, had Parkinson's Disease, a broken hip and was immobilized.
