SISTERS OF ST. JOSEPH LAUNCH ONLINE GRANT APPLICATION

(12/13/2013)
Parkersburg, WV - For the upcoming spring grant cycle, the Sisters of St. Joseph Charitable Fund (SSJCF) will be implementing a new online grant application system. To familiarize applicants with how to submit an application and to answer any questions, two online webinars and one in-person meeting will be offered.

The webinars will be held on December 17 and January 7 at 9:30. Register for one of the online webinars by visiting the home page of www.ssjcharitablefund.org If an in-person demonstration is preferred, one will be held on January 9 at 10:00 am in Parkersburg. To register for the in-person demonstration only, please email Renee Steffen at rsteffen@ssjcharitablefund.org

The deadline to submit an application for all grant programs for the spring 2014 grant cycle is January 22.

The SSJCF makes grants twice a year, in the fall and spring, to Calhoun, Jackson, Pleasants, Ritchie, Roane, Tyler, Wirt, and Wood Counties in West Virginia and Athens, Meigs, and Washington Counties in Ohio.

Its mission is to promote healthy and sustainable communities by providing resources, strengthening collaborative relationships, and supporting initiatives that impact people in the Mid-Ohio Valley.

The primary strategy by which SSJCF carries out its mission is through responsive grantmaking of local projects that meet the criteria of the oral health, healthy lifestyles, or health equity priority areas.
