CALHOUN CIRCUIT COURT WILL HEAR SEVEN FELONY CASES MONDAY

Calhoun Circuit Court will be in session Monday starting at 10 a.m. with Judge David W. Nibert presiding.

- State vs. Melvin Howell, 56, plea.

Howell was indicted on one count of Possession with Intent to Deliver and Delivery of a Controlled Substance, alleging that he sold Hydrocodone on March 30, 2012.

- State vs. Nancy Hillegas, sentencing.

Hillegas entered a guilty plea to petit larceny, a misdemeanor.

- State vs. Eric Ray Jones, pre-trial (trial 1/14/14).

Jones was indicted on one count of Burglary, a Felony, and one count of Petit Larceny. The indictment alleges that he broke into a family member's home on January 18, 2013.

- State vs. Corey Lee Metheney, hearing on motion to modify bond conditions.

- State vs. Josh Haymaker, annual review.

- State vs. Richard Blake, 47, plea.

Blake was indicted on one count of Operating and Attempt to Operate Clandestine Drug Laboratories, a Felony; one count of Possession and Purchasing Precursors to Manufacture Methamphetamine, a Felony; and one count of Exposing Children to the Manufacture of Methamphetamine, a Felony; and one count of Conspiracy, a Felony.

- State vs. Felicia Jarvis, 29, plea.

Jarvis was indicted on one count of Operating and Attempt to Operate Clandestine Drug Laboratories, a Felony; one count of Exposing Children to the Manufacture of Methamphetamine, a Felony; and one count of Conspiracy, a Felony.

- State vs. Richard Wayne, sentencing.

The state filed an Information against Wayne for one count of Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance (marijuana), a felony.

Wayne entered a plea of guilty to the Information and Judge Nibert referred the case to the Probation Officer for a pre-sentence investigation.

As part of the plea, Wayne agreed to relinquish to the Town of Grantsville $956.00 in drug monies seized from the defendant. The state agreed to recommend an alternative sentence.
