CLAY COUPLE CHARGED AFTER DOMESTIC INCIDENT ON RT. 16

A Clay County man, David Pauley, was arrested last week and charged with beating and pushing his wife, and pulling an insulin pump out of her arm on a Clay County road. Pauley has been charged with domestic battery, DUI with a minor in the vehicle, and operating a motor vehicle without a license. Now, State Police have arrested his wife, Amanda Pauley, and charged her with permitting DUI. Police said they received multiple 911 calls from concerned neighbors, saying a man was in a physical altercation with a woman along Route 16 in Lizemore. Pauley told troopers that their van had broken down. He then admitted to hitting and pushing her and then pulling his wife's insulin pump out of her arm. Troopers also said Pauley assaulted another male at the scene of the incident.
