LOCAL CHAPTERS OF RED HAT SOCIETY HAVE NOVEMBER "HOOTS"

(11/27/2013)

(L-R) Lorraine Bailey (Queen), Marty Park, Juanita Boggs-
Saunders, Gae Bailey, Yvonne Church, and Carol Pritt

The Glamour Girls, southern Calhoun chapter of the Red Hat Society went to the Ponderosa Steakhouse in Elkview for lunch November 20th.

After an enjoyable time eating, playing games, etc., they discussed briefly their plans for purchasing the balance of coats they needed for their annual project "Coats for Kids".

They then went shopping and had a great time. Thanks to Lorraine and Carol for the games and prizes. The coats will be delivered next week, since there is no school this week.

The gals decided their next meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 18th, at noon. It will be their annual pizza party to be held at the CCCOA in Minnora, and will include snacks, desserts, and drinks. They will also have a Yankee Swap gift exchange.

(L-R) Joann Ward, Sarah Higgs, Vivian Dye,
Jean Simers, Judy Bowman, and Carol Sloane

The Sunny Cal Gals, Grantsville area chapter of the Red Hat Society, held their monthly "hoot" on Thursday, November 14th at the Calhoun Library with a covered dish dinner.

The gals had a wonderful time and discussed plans for the Christmas "hoot" which will be Thursday, December 5th.
