| Brock B. Brady, 79, of Shock, West Virginia, passed away peacefully at his home November 22, 2013. Born December 31, 1933, he was a son of the late Elbert Brady and Josephine Boone Brady. He was married 53 years to the one love of his life, Alma Lawson Brady who survives in addition to his children and their spouses, Jennifer Markle (Shannon), Jill Cottrell (Roger), Matt Brady (Misty) and Julia Fitzwater (Wriston). Eight grandchildren, Ashley, Kyle, Megan, Emily, Samuel, Riley Paige, Brady and Riley; and one great grandson, Logan. Brock was an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman that always looked forward to squirrel and deer hunting with his family and friends. He was a lifelong timber cutter and dozer operator. This combined his livelihood with his passion as a man who truly loved the woods. Brock was a member of the Rosedale United Methodist Church which he attended faithfully. He was a US Army Veteran having served in France and Germany. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 27, 2013, 1:00 pm, at the Rosedale United Methodist Church with Rev. Paul Raynor and Elder Larry Fisher officiating. Interment will follow in the Boone Cemtery. Friends may call at the Stump Funeral Home in Arnoldsburg Tuesday from 5:00-8:00 pm.
